The Role: Supervisor, Project and Program Management

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex, cross-functional projects and programs from initiation to completion. You will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of deliverables, ensuring they meet business objectives, timelines, and budgets.

You will also mentor junior project managers, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure alignment between project goals and organizational strategies.

Key Responsibilities

As Supervisor of Project and Program Management, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Leading the design, implementation, and management of complex, large-scale projects and programs.

• Supervising project managers and providing mentorship to ensure performance and growth.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high quality.

• Developing detailed project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

• Managing project risks, dependencies, and conflicts through proactive risk mitigation and stakeholder engagement.

• Communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders at various organizational levels.

• Overseeing procurement, third-party vendors, and contractors when necessary.

• Providing consistent project reporting and status updates to senior management.

Core Qualifications Include:

• Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 7 years of experience in project or program management, with demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams.

• Certifications (Desirable): PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum certifications will be a strong advantage.

• Project Tools Knowledge: Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms.

• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and diverse teams.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making capabilities.

• Adaptability: Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
